Hi!

I have been designing websites for a couple years with Dreamweaver and PHP.  I recently took over maintaining a site that was developed in Visual Studio 7.1.  I am not familiar with ASP at all.  I downloaded the free Visual Developer 2008 and moved the files to my computer to start updating.  However, I am getting numerous error messages.  i.e. "Can't find the index.aspx file.  Can't find the global.aspx file."  When I open up some of the pages like the page navigation, I get over 700 flagged issues (not errors).  Is this because Visual Studio 7.1 and Visual Developer 2008 are not compatible?  Should I just try to start from scratch on this site?  I really am at a loss and need to get this site updated for the client.  I can post error logs, etc. or give brief access to the site!  I need some guidance.

 Thanks,

Cindy
