I would like to hear suggestions for best approach to handle applicaion security for a banking web application. The person in charge of the project wants to have some kind of certificate on the clients so the are the only ones that can access the pages. Is that possible for a Web Application???
He meant like have something installed on the computers so the users only can access the web application thrugh that computer. and if the go outside or somewhere else they can not enter. He also mentioned having some kind of IP filtering or Mac address filtering. But I want to hear what approach is better and also not too dificult to implement.
He wants it to be a webapplication, because most of the users are from diferent government agencies. but they must access the webpage only from their agency. not from their homes, etc.
