I am wanting to use the MemberShip Provider in order to obtain the obvious benefits (strongly typed properties etc). We already have an existing database and table schemas which are holding user details. How do I get the membership provider to use this database? I'm guessing I have to write a custom provider, but I can't find much information out there on connecting it to a SQL 2005 server. Please can you point me in the right direction?
