how to get weekday of the selected date,calender control, asp.net/c# ?

i m using textbox calender extender. wen i selects any date, i want the weekday of that date along withe date in that textbox.?
Q 2. how to change the templatefield value in runtime,during codebehind.asp.net/C# ?
