summarizing datatable row

i have datatable with five column
column
1            productid

2            productname
3            quantityapproved
4             rate
5             total

i want a new datatable or same with summary of total as per productid and product name . quantity approved and rate is not concern with me
can i summarize data table on the basis of specific columns

please help me out
