I recently uninstalled SQL Server 2010 Express (x64) and tried to install SQL Server 2012 Express. The uninstall went well, however when I installed SQL Server 2012 Express it gave me an error on install and also an error upon trying to launch the program.
My system specs are:
AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor 3.00 GHz
3.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional - SP1 - 64 Bit
I have .NET Framework 4.5 installed.
I have (supposedly) .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed. I have disabled and reenabled it through the cmd. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled it through Add/Remove Programs (Windows Components) in the control panel. I still get the same error. I have uninstalled
