button Onclick event only fire on second click

i have no page load event in this usercontrol.
i have a save button and a delete button on same user control. delete button fires fine with a click. only the save button fire on second click.
anyone know why?

my buttons are in usercontrol. and i drag drop my user control to a page.
in my page i have page load event. like
if not ispostback then
my logic
end if
