How to key in the serial number in textbox with auto generate function in gridview C# ?

Dear All,

i have created  a web form in asp.net and C#. i was wondering that is any auto generate function in gridview C# when  key in serial number. it will auto generate serial number based on the input figure ?

for the example if key in 10 unit, and the serial number is  abc001, then it will auto generate from abc001 till abc010(which is based on the unit).
