Ok, all I'm trying to do is install MYSQL 2005 Express SP3 as it is required to use the toolset for Dragon Age: Origins. The setup for the toolset includes MYSQL and I first encountered the problem during that install. I attempted to download and install another copy of the file, and when that didn't work I tried downloading a standalone copy from the Microsoft Download Center. I'm running Vista Home Premium on almost a freshly reformatted hard drive and to clarify I have received no error messages, the setup does respond...it just never gets past the "Setting Server Network Default Settings" portion of the configuring of "SQL Server Database Services". If anyone can shed any light on this situation it would be greatly appreciated
