QA with .net

Hi,
I would like to write a script in .net that checks a login page that already exist and return with success or not in a text file.
for example: I will give a string to function that gets url,user and password - and it will create a file with text that the login was fine or not
Can any one give me a clue on how to do it ? Thanks
