I am using asp.net 4.0 for an enterprise application, we donot follow mvc pattern, we do use 3rd party tools aspose, leadtools, telerik, jQuery / UI. We do use external css and js files

Is there any difference b/w these two ? Is there any better alernative ? What are the pros and cons of each of above ? I meant what makes them stand out from each other ?
