required field validator

Hi,

   i am having radio button list with yes and no
   if radio button is selected as yes then required field validator validation must be fired on textbox on button click
   if radio button is selected as no then validation should not be perfoemed on teaxtbox on same button click.

plz help me how i can fire and stop required field validation on same button based on radio button list selected value
