SQLCMD works from Command Line prompt. The SQL Server version is: 11.0.2218 (SQL Server 2012 Express)
It seems to have a problem in SQL Server Management Studio. There is a red exclamation mark on it, choosing it from the drop-down list does not enable this. Using Tools menu is of no avail.
