Hi All,
I have added a new site in IIS7 and i did the following
in basic settings gave a site name, mapped the local folder path and in 'connect as' and selected 'Application user option' and after that when i click on test settings it showed that its connected
went back to appPool which was created for this site -- > advance settings --> in identity option added 'Custom account'(which was created specifically for this pospose in AD)
in Bindings for the site i tried to bind it to IP address which are available from the list. (and choose some avalable IP addres and gave a host name same as the site name)
for the site i clicked on 'Authentication' and enabled the 'Windows' authentication. and for 'Anonymous Authenticaton i right clikced on it and edited by adding " specific user (which is the account i set up for AppPool too) and clicked on ok.
