Whether to apply business rules on c# code or put on mssql database?

We have developed a ecommerce applications which contains complex rules like catalog pricing rules.We save the rules on database.We become confused whether to calculate the rules on code or on database using storedprocedure.We would be grateful if you provide us some insights.
