I have 2 gridviews on the page that are retrieving 31,000 records in one and 300,000 in another and it is too much for my hosting company.
It works on my local pc but on the webhost there may be some limitation
I was only displaying 10 records in each gridview but they were retrieving more before the display.
How can I fix this?
Is this a viewstate solution??
Would the GridView.AllowCustomPaging feature of the gridview help?
