We are a small audit firm in Cape Town, South Africa. About 2 years ago, we upgraded our main to Windows Server 2012 R2. In our firm, we use a program called Caseware Time 2009 to manage our billings. This programs runs on MS SQL Server 2005 (part of the
installation). It took the IT techs of CQS (owners/managers of CWTime 2009) about 2 hours (via Teamviewer) to get our database (previously running on Windows XP Pro SP3) up and running.
We have had no issues until late last year, when, on random occasions the SQL will drop its connectivity. There is no loss in our data, but it is frustrating to restart the program over and login again. This is currently about 4/5 time a day now.
Is there some update/repair that I can run? Some setting that might need to change to not have this drop happen?
