hi,
i am new to this so please bear with me if this is too obvious. I have created a single ASP.NET web app and succesfully deployed in on a 2008 R2 server running IIS7.
I now wish to run it as https hence i have generated a certificate request. My problem is that when i mail off the certificate request (hash file as generated by my IIS7)
the SSL supplier keeps saying i have problems with my domain name. i basically have registered 2 domian/urls to point to my website. On is ???????.com and the other
?????.co.uk. Do i need a separate ssl cert for each url? Both urls point to the same single web app. I just wanted users to get to it if they used .com or .co.uk. Also i do
not run an actual domain on the server just a workgroup. Can i use one certificate on my webserver? Where is the best/cheapest ssl supplier? Verisign want £1700 for one
certificate. Is that normal?
