Downloads are costly in both time and money.  Far too often now, large downloads that take a long or circuitous route can become corrupted, but still complete the process.  Over the years, this has been a huge and repeated problem for many people.   It only takes a few seconds to obtain, and it could be included in the posting of the info equally as quickly and easily, thereby saving hundreds or even thousands of people from many hours of wasted time and struggles.  This has become an industry STANDARD (best practice), that MS has ignored far too long.
