I am looking into a web based reporting solution. I am hoping to get some suggestions of what to do and what not to do.
Currently we use Oracle Discoverer and we would like to replace it with something that is web and that does not require licensing per user.
We also use Crystal reports for our batch run reports, but almost nothing ad-hoc or user ran.
I have come across these 2 options, but unclear if I would need to buy annual licensing or if they are good solutions:

I have thought about Crystal reports, but I cant tell if its possible to put together a asp.net app that would allow users to create their own report with it.
I realize this is a tough question but any input would be greatly appreciated.
