I'm on a
Windows XP
Media Center Edition
V. 2002
SP3
When I download the SQL and install it it gives several errors.
I get some error that SQL cannot update some windows file,
Then it says
The SQL Server service failed to start. For more information, see the SQL Server Books Online topics,
"How to: View SQL Server 2005 Setup Log Files" and "Starting SQL Server Manually
At the end of the install I am able to finish it,
but when it does it tells me that SQL failed to install,
and I cannot start it.
Should I post the whole Setup Log File here?
It's pretty long :| !

Well that's right, I am.
I have no idea what I'm doing regarding SQL. But hey, one's gotta start SOMEWHERE right ?
