Hi,
I have a strange problem. Recently we have shifted to a new office premise. But we have our same wifi modem and the same connection that is at the old place. Now at the new place we are not able to connect to our remote database server through wi-fi network.
Cannot connect to ---------. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 53) But when we connect through a dial-up connection (Through Data Card Dongle), there is no problem in connecting to the server.
What could be the possible cause for this?
Thanks
