I have the same problem where I get a message saying VS2013 only supports SQL Express up to version 2012. While I can work with SQL Management Studio, integrating the database with my project becomes impossible from what I can surmise. I read the thread
concerning upgrade to SQL Express 2014 in the future. Wonderful. However, if I am creating something with SQL Express 2012 NOW, how easy will it be to migrate to the new version?
