i am working for an small company which is starting an maybe really large project(which i may create with my firsttime asp.net expierience coming from desktop .net, while i still am 19 years old, so i can really use some professional tips) which could posibilly
gain sets of ten-thousends of users ( because we create them ourselves 'smart right?', this is anyway important because a part of our content needs to have an owner assigned before they actually sign up.). therefore i want to make a few things clear. since
this could be verry important for such an public.
so. is there anything i should know, like tips and tricks that could really mean a savior for me in feature?
in my website, i use sessions to store data between pages. i have set the timeout to 12 x 60 ( a complete day right? ). is this acceptable for performance? and how relayable are sessions? can i trust them to not strangely dissapear? like visual studio localhost
