Creating the Data Access Layer - right-clicking on Models folder does not have the option to Add / New Item, why?

Doing the Getting Started with ASP.net 4.5 tutorial "WingtipToys" on step "Creating the Data Access Layer".  When I right-click on my Models folder in Solution Explorer, my Add menu doesn't have "New Item".  Only thing similar is "New Scaffolded Item" which isn't what I need. I'm using Visual Studio Express 2013 for Web.
