Have been using 2008 r2 express for quite a long time now, and very satisfied..Mid-level user..
I traveled this past week, and the connection to db was lost, services would not fire up and my everything corrupted....
backed up db to folder.
Uninstalled 2008 r2
Reinstalled, no connection, cannot start in Configuration Manager
Installed SQL 2012 now...Same issue
WHen i try to start Server in Configuration Manager, it times out....
