SQl seever at VMSQL01 has an unsopported version 10.50.1600.1

HI Expert,
I having a problem  while  connecting my SharePoint  foundation  2013 to SQl server 2008 Standard version.The error's say " SQl sever at VMSQL01 has an unsopported version 10.50.1600.1" . (see the image below)

Please help to solve my problem as soon as possible.
