I would like to be able to launch some small console applications (25k "utility.exe") while my site is running.
I did a search on the subject but cannot conclude whether that is possible or not.
I realize there are security issues involved.
All I'm trying to do is to launch a utility (doesn't have to run in a window) with a set of flags and parameters of my choosing, for the user, and capture it's output in a text file,
to display the results in a Label control. Nothing fancy.
Is this possible, at all, today, or am I wasting my time?
