How can i generate from a template if file not exist ?

Hi ,
if I have a t4 template , lets say  sample.tt and the generated  output file is  Sample.xaml . If i generate it once , how can i  only regenerate the .xaml or .cs file if the generated output file doesnt exist ?
Is there a check in the include i can use ?
