Hi there. I was hoping someone could help! ;-)
I went to Microsoft.com and downloaded SQL Server 2012 Express earlier today. The install seemed to go fine. I did not get any error messages.
However, when I attempt to open the application - I could not find an executable file to open on my machine?
I downloaded this file from their site:
ENU\x64\SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe
This appeared to be the Express version. I also downloaded this file not knowing if this was the one I needed:
ENU\x86\SqlLocaLDB.MSI
On the download page there is a message:
Note:There are multiple files available for this download.Once you click on the "Download" button, you will be prompted to select the files you need.
I just need the Express edition. This does not tell me what I need to download to get it. I also tried to uninstall these two files and cannot. Some of t ...
