I have been working on ASP .Net for the last 3 years. Before that I do have 6 years of Oracle PL/SQL experience. I would like to move further in my career in ASP.net but it is very much confusing with so many options. I have been only working on WebForms
and SSRs reports.
Till now, I did not get a clear idea on how all these applications are different in .Net framework. None of the books specify clearly what are all the kinds of templates and their pros and cons. Can anyone please point me to a link or give a brief explanation
on the following?
WebForms Windows Forms WPF WCF MVC Forms
Do I need to know all these? Any of you use all of the above technologies? Which is more preferred by employers these days?
