ASP.NET using VB to do a Search form

Hi all,
I'm new around here and this is my first post. I'm doing a project and I need some help. Basically I'm doing a website using Visual Studio 2013 precisely ASP.net VB , I need to do a search form like the type of a Real Estate Agency (ex. http://www.perry.com.mt/) Then I need to connect it with an MS Access database.
I was wondering maybe someone can provide me some tips how to start or maybe a sample, this is going to be just a simple function where basically a user is going to select if it is a long let or for sale, the number of bedrooms and the locality then hits the search button and results are displayed.
