I know this is an issue that has many solutions. I've tried many and none have worked. So I'm thinking either I've got an issue that is different or I'm not applying the fixes as expected.
Using .Net V4 IIS 7.5
I've been told by the Administrators IIS is not running as a web farm or cluster.
I've tried to turn off the enableViewStateMac the many ways described in the various documents sometimes there is a list of parameters, tried that too. This seems to have no effect. Also tried to add a MachineKey the various different ways described. Maybe
I'm doing this incorrectly but I've read many examples and explanations and tied many too.
My local IIS 7 server doesn't have the issue. Also not an issue with Safari or Chrome either local or remote only IE 7,8,9,10 on the remote IIS 7.5.
