how to call the javascript/jquery from the checkbox inside the gridview in C#

hi  i have checkbox inside the gridview which some are checked and some are unchecked.  how to call javascript from the check change event from the client side and i want to open the ModalPopupExtender1 which having yes/no button if i click no ,page will retain the original state
