In the process of learning and testing running multiple of instances of MS SQL Express 2014 I have installed it several times.  Now that I have a working knowledge (or at least, basic functionality) I intended to uninstall all instances and reinstall a default. I utilized the uninstall feature in control panel and then manually removed all SQL folders that remained. I then reinstalled MS SQL Express and when I load the SQL Management Studio and attempt to log into MS SQL it presents options to log into all the instances I had previously installed.  I've removed every SQL reference I could find in the registry yet it still happens.  I read that I should not utilize a registry cleaner; what other option do I have to remove these references?
Thanks!
