So Monday my professor changed our senior design project criteria. I had been working on a c# program that accepted a users Name, Birthdate and accessed a Bluetooth dongle to read data from a BLE113. So Monday he told us he doesn't want this.
He said he now wants a server that will host a code on it. Once a client accesses this, the client will be able to enter a name, birthdays, comments, write/read a COM port and upload the data as a text file to the server. So all of this is contained within
a code held on the server, and the client only access the server to use it.
This project is due by like December 10th and the reason I ask this is because my professor admitted that he has no idea if this can be done, doesn't understamd what port forwarding or a DNS is. And I'd like any advice if possible!
