we know that first form authentication comes and later Membership API come with form auth all feature and now newly introduce Identity.
1) i like to know in briefly the difference between form authentication, Membership API and newly introduce Identity
2) what was the lack for which MS later introduce Membership API ?
3) same way what was the lack found in Membership API for which now newly introduce Identity ?
looking for some one who well conversed with these 3 element and it would be great if some one discuss in detail and reason why Membership comes and why now Identity comes.
