How to Call the click event of a button from another button using ASP.NET code behind

Hi,

I am trying to access the code behind codes from one button in ASP.NET by calling the click event from another button?
I tried to call  Button1_click but it seems the codes are not executed. Can anyone enlighten me? I am using .NET 4.5 Vb.NET.
