hiding 'path' in error message (which is relative to the project)

errors say (edited for privacy):
Source File: z:\folder\folder1\folder2\folder3\file.aspx.cs    Line: 365

It shows a direct path in the 'stack trace' as well.  How can I avoid this?
The path is relative to development even when deployed on another server.
