How to Increment Folderpath if exists using c#

Hello Everyone, 

     I am facing problem with file path creation. i.e i have one path to save the files. i want to increment the folder path if already exists and then i need to save the files. 
eg :                                               D:\chandragiri\dbwork\
 i need to increment this path to D:\chandragiri\dbwork(1)\
                                                     D:\chandragiri\dbwork(2)\
                                                      ...
