I know this is the wrong sub-forum but I need your advice. I have inherited an asp.net v3.5 web application talking to the SQl server 2005 db and both are on the same box. I have been asked to investigate failover and redundency and backups etc....
This is more than likely the wrong sub-forum for such a query but can you help me out? Do you know where a suitable forum may be please? ie people who know about such things. Should I separate the DB from the web app? Should I backup the DB regularly?
To where? etc... questions like this...
Any recommendations/advice much appreciated,
