Need to create csv file from an output of an SQL in Microsoft SQL Server 2012

Hi

Could you please let us know if the bcp utility on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 is active or if we need to install a Microsoft SQL Server 201 SP1 Pack.
Also, any guidance in installing and using the bcp utility would help.
