This is a strange situation to me.
I made a faulty attempt to install SQL Server 2008 on my PC. The installation failed and I removed all references to Sql Server 2008 that I could find so that I could make a clean install later. The result of my efforts are that the following two lines both appear in the "Uninstall" list.
"Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 Setup(English)"
"Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 Setup(English)"
I have not been able to remove these 2 entries.  All other references  have been removed and there seems no way to clean up a (2) faulty references. Simply click has no effect and trying to uninstall or trying to delete, has no effect.
How can I clean this up, before trying again to make a clean install?
