We have a web application that has links to different report que's and besides missing a email notification that informs you that there are new records/submissions to review. I would like to add a "New Counter" next to each menu link similar to your email
clients that show you new emails since your last visit.
I was thinking of just adding a "count" for the day so that the number just doesn't increase, but was hoping to see if there was a way to determine the number of new submission since your last visit to the page?
Is the possible or am I over complicating it?
