I am looking for a good (cost-effective) checkout API that I can 'seamlessly' integrate into my site. I don't want to have a large PayPal "BUY NOW" button on every checkout form and I would like to use the same forms that I have already created, for the
most part. I am hoping to integrate an API to handle the credit transaction portion of the checkout and have the cart look similar to the rest of the site. Does anyone have any experience with something that works well, or preferences for one over another?
I am looking at Authorize.Net right now, but it looks like they are going to change their payment routing, and move everything over to Akamai to be more stable, according to Authorize.net. Is anyone familiar with Akamai? Authorize.net seems to have reasonable
pricing but is this something I should be worried about for any reason?
