You can create Websites in Easy wey using CMS. This is same as using Wordpress, Blogger, Joomla or Drupal or any other CMS.
Visual Studio is a Software which is used to Create and compile the .NET based as well as other Programming Language softwares and applications. While is Umbraco CMS is a same Compiled .NET Website software like Joomla/Wordpress in php. So it is not alternative of Visual Studio.
