how can retrive data from excel sheet and save in database with help of Fileupload control

hello sir,
In my application i make a form cantain some one fileupload control and some textbox and one save button
i want to select a excelsheet and retrive some data like email_id,city,name from excelsheet and after that save in database
how is possible in asp.net...
