if they ask your bank A/C NO then you may ask this but they are asking only the name of yours .
you had own a prize i.e material so need of bank account No , this might be the reason why they are Not asking your account Number

I think most part of your question has already been answered by Saratvaddilli (Thanks Sarat for this).

We do not need your account details or any other personal details, as we do not deal with any financial transactions. If you won cash, we simply send the cheque to you on your name in such case your name should be what appears in the Bank. We neither ask for your account number, nor pan card number nor any other confidential information.

In all other cases also, we want only genuine people to win the prizes, not someone who is posting with some bogus usernames or representing someone else. We do use these names sometimes for cross verification purpose to avoid fake/bogus users as we keep receiving such kind of complaints.
