Performane issue in my application

I have dropdown binding in each row of grid. In row databound i am loading drop down. There are nearly 1000 records in my data table. So, to bind the grid in page load, it is taking too much of time(10 Mins) . Kindly tell some ideas to make it faster.

0	Hi Nithya, 1) Are you trying to display the 1000 records during the page load itself, then don't.Use AllowPaging property of Gridview. 2) Are you loading the data into Gridview using a Stored Procedure, if not use SP. 3) Are you providing end user to edit/update/delete functionality. If this is not the requirement then use Repeater control because it is lightweight.
