0	first download .msi file from http://ajaxcontroltoolkit.codeplex.com/releases/view/43475 run it, then it will create ajax extension named folder in ur toolbox of visual studio then browse content and then add .ddl file....and then u can be able to ajax controls.....note:- if u want to make new ajx enabled application so always open "ajax enabled website" option...because ajax enabled site has different webconfig. file not same as simple site...
